The Journey Shrinker — 125 Group Railtours

50th Anniversary Special

This railtour is to celebrate 50 years of 125mph scheduled passenger services in the UK.

We follow the route of the 1976 timetabled HST service.

Leaving Paddington, we stop in Reading and Swindon, pass through Bath with a stop at Bristol Temple Meads before diving through the Severn tunnel into Wales.

Once in Wales we have a brief stop at the Capital Cardiff before continuing to Swansea our destination.

After a couple of hours in Swansea we retrace our steps to Bristol Temple Meads returning to Paddington via Chipping Sodbury.

We have many ticket options available - choose where you'd like to board and leave our train during the journey.

SIngle tickets will be available later, in early September dependent on seats still being available.
